Sea Salt 6204

If you’re craving a color that feels calm, classic and livable, Sherwin Williams Sea Salt is one you’ve probably heard about! The is my second favorite complex shade of blue-green rivaled only by Benjamin Moore’s Palladian Blue for this designer.
This soft, spa like color is one of my “go to” hues for creating relaxed interiors that still feel polished. Sea Salt adapts beautifully to its surroundings, making it incredibly versatile for real homes both inside and in the right circumstance on the exterior as well.

About Sea Salt
Sherwin Williams Sea Salt, SW 6204, is a muted blue green with subtle gray undertones. With an LRV of 63, it reflects a decent amount of light, helping spaces feel open and airy, while still adding plenty of color. Sea Salt is a true “chameleon color” because it can shift depending on lighting, nearby finishes, and time of day.
Is Sea Salt a Cool or Warm Tone?
Sea Salt leans cool, but the subtle notes of green to the undertone softens it so it never feels icy or cold. In some lighting, you’ll notice it reads greener; in others, it reads more blue or even slightly gray. This balanced mix is what makes Sea Salt feel soothing rather than stark.
What Colors Work with Sea Salt?
Sea Salt partners well with a wide range of other colors, which is part of its appeal. Some of my favorite pairings include:
· Soft whites and off-whites for a clean, coastal feel
· Light greige or taupe for a more transitional look
· Some shades of green with undertones of blue gray, such as Sherwin Williams Evergreen Fog, create and unexpected yet lovely combination.
· Deep shades of navy or charcoal accents for a bit of depth
Sea Salt also looks beautiful alongside natural textures like linen, rattan, and stone.
